How we research and build.
Every Milo capability starts on the floor of a real community or property, not in a lab. Our process keeps residents, guests and care teams at the centre from first idea to final release.

- 02Co-designAdvisors review ideas and prototypes early, so every feature reflects clinical practice and day-to-day operations.

Milo is built in four layers that work together, from the sensors in a room to the people who rely on them.
- ExperienceVoice, TV, a companion app and the Milo Command dashboard bring the right information to residents, guests, families and staff.
- IntegrationIntegrates with your existing nurse call, TV platform, property management and room control systems, and with devices from many vendors.
- IntelligenceMilo's AI turns raw signals into meaning: routines, changes in wellbeing, falls and requests, with the context of each person and room.
- SensingRadar, floor pressure, environmental, door and wearable sensors understand presence, movement and wellbeing. Cameras with face recognition cover entrances and common areas only.

- Every device is monitored, so a dead battery never becomes a missed event.
- Data is handled in line with Canadian privacy law and each property's own policies.
